By boneill
This item is exactly as described, however I assumed there would be an angle adjustment option...but there is not. The angle is steep and there's no adjusting it. The piece with the seat should be telescopic, with a bolt to hold your preferred selection in place. To use it I will have to stack books or something under the bottom of the seat piece, where it meets the floor, so as to level out the seating to a more moderate angle. It's also difficult to get in and out of based on the default/only angle.

By *tarantula*
This is an awesome crunch bench. It is very sturdy and of great quality.........especially for the price on amazon. The gym that I go to has one like this and before discovering amazon I had looked months for one online at an affordable price. One of the best features is the convenience of the design because you can fold it in half and put in a closet or under the couch in seconds. Perfect!

By Mizpah
Worth every penny: Bench has solid construction with sharp decline that will extend the range of motion for your core workout. Easy to assemble, nice folding feature for storage. I am 5'11'' and this is plenty long enough for me.
This bench is great, but it can be very humbling. After ignoring my mid section at a desk job through my 20s I started doing crunches daily...after a year I was was up to 1,200/day in six sets of 200 combined with cardio at the gym. When I got this bench I put it together the night it arrived (in about 20 minutes, very easy to assemble)....and then I received a reality check.
The decline on this bench is much steeper than many other ab benches I have used at gyms. The two sections come together at a 90 degree angle. Needless to say the first night I was only able to do 50 situps. The next day it was a battle just to get my 50, and the 3rd day my abs were so sore and shredded that I had to take a couple days off. From there I started back at my 50 a day and have moved up to 100/day.
If you are just starting to work your abs, don't start here. If you are looking to take an existing core workout to the next level this is the bench. After I get to 500/day on this I'll buy an ab roller.
